Historically rich and vibrant, Großer Tiergarten is Berlin’s largest urban park. The park is a tourist attraction for its wealth of memorials and historical monuments, most notably the Große Stern with the Siegessäule at its center.
Gradually being restored to its former pre-war glory, the park has undergone a rebranding to breath life back into itself. Upgrades to signage and maps were sorely needed, and the rebranding is reflected in them.
A mix of new and old, the map pays respect to the physical heritage of the park and its surroundings while maintaining a vintage appearance, synonymous with the park’s design. Green and yellow tones of the signs also reflect this modern/historic twist.
